I just want everyone to know that somedays I am not a quirky, laidback magpie with a positive outlook. I do try though. Insomnia and nightmares ran rampant last night, including this crazy one that ended in a lot of tears and me being a single daddy with a baby boy I named Rhys. Head pain along my scar tissue got really geared up about 0600. My younger cousins and baby bro drank all my Diet Soda and all the Gatorade and the friggin' coffee was cold.
That was it. Frustrations with me come out in loud bursts and then they're all done. Not only that but everything is better with old school music and Emilie Simon, especially when she sing "Come As You Are."
:D ...I still hurt though, I need a massage and a cute dude to bring me lemonade when I am working outside.
Oh! Hilarious thing that happened the other day:
I brought up the "that's what she said" thing at dinner with my baby bro, rents, gemma, and three of my cousins which included a crack from my bro and I. My bro said something about needing a hand cuz it was getting hard (to cut his steak) and my Gemma said, "That's what she said!" LMAO!

I haven't given any kind of update on here in a long time. Some of what is on here may no longer be true, some more true than ever, and some of it still true on occasion.
What have I been up to?:
Therapy for my PTSD. Landscaping and working on fixing up the family farm. Bettering myself. Looking for work. Almost had a couple of writing gigs. Trying to be more social. Trying to dream of love, my future, being the me I miss being. Saw "Season of the Witch" tonight and dug it. Wanna see "Company Men", "Burlesque", and others I forget at the moment. Would be nice to go out for dinner with some good friends or a cute boy or two...LOL... Nervous about my brain MRI results even though I don't think I should be.
Things I've realized I find attractive/sexy:
Redheads and alabaster skin, smaller dudes, guys who just are who they are and defy labels and stereotypes cuz they're just cool like that, green eyes, brown eyes, sultry eyes, accents, foreign men, dark hair and moreno/olive skin tones, guys who like the way I smell, dudes that smell good, confidence, positive attitudes, humor, men who brighten my day, cuddling, having hobbies and interests in common, nurturers, creativity, talent, being bold, manscaped body hair - too long and unkept is gross but a well groomed bit of fuzz to run my hands through is hot, big smiles, adventurous spirits open to knew experiences, curious minds, guys who read and watch movies that mean stuff, are foreign, and movies with shit blowing up, dudes who make me laugh cuz they don't want to fight. That's a little bit of what I am thinking. As always the eyes, ass, and smile are important. LOL...

What's new?:
Totally psyched about the weather getting better. I've been doing a lot of work in the yard, bonfires, and playing with my '83 Camaro. Still not doing my volunteer stuff which is a bummer cuz I'm damn good at it. Sent my resume in on a local Reporter gig, so cross your fingers for me. Not playing RIFT anymore. I realize that I could just delete stuff that is no longer accurate, but this way we can keep a running count on how many times I get distracted by something new and shiny. I've realized that I am more apt to talk to dudes that are shorter than me on here. Does that mean I'm unfairly profiling? Looking for friends and whatever so talk to me, I don't even care if you read all this crap right away. Or if you're vertically inclined. I love my Kindle 3G, but it has been neglected lately. I start the first of two community ed writing classes I am taking tomorrow. I love coupons. I want to go hiking and have a party soon so hopefully the weather this weekend doesn't suck. I've been through a lot of crazy stuff over the last few years. Haven't we all though? Either way, I am looking to find my direction and my bliss and I'm not 100% sure what that is. I want to be an artist in life, whatever I do, I wish to do it with finesse and grace. I want to make the mundane beautiful. I love my family and my home, but I want to move. I want honesty, support, and love in my life. Anyway, that is a little of me, don't want to give it all away.
Sex/Dating:
Ok, I have to say a few things about dating. I want to be with someone that I can be best friends with as well as a lover. I am all about meeting people as friends, even if I am seeing someone special. I can be bad and have a little fun, although I don't turn to the casual one nights as a rule. What happens, happens sometimes. I believe in getting to know who you are dating before you jump into a relationship, that being said I date more than one guy at a time if it works out that way, by dating I mean getting to know one another but if there is a special, definite romantic vibe there I'm all your's boy. "Date" is not a term I fear, it is simply going out and getting to know a person, whether that falls to romance or a platonic relationship. As far as sex goes, I would like to say I have an open mind, and so long as blood, feces, and urine are not part of it, I think I am. I do have my preferences though, so that being said I am a top, and don't get your hopes up, but I can bottom on rare occasion for the right one or for the right one period. I also like head, so please at least be willing to do it in foreplay if not as a main event, I will do the same. Oh, and as you can see, I have no problems talking about the basics, I save details for my lover generally, and with my lover I believe in discussing what feels good, new ideas, and what's not working. I am all about communicating in all things, especially the intimate ones.

I communicate physically quite a bit. If we are talking in an intimate setting and you surprise me I may swat at you with the back of my hand. If startled, I may grab your knee. I try not to swear in a restaurant but I cuss like a sailor otherwise. I'll take my hat off and put my napkin on my lap and shut my phone off or silent before we dine. If your having a rough time, I am that friend that will stay with you through the night and if we are close friends or lovers, cuddle up with you and hold you while you cry. I won't judge, but I will be truthful and honest. I will fight for those I love, even if I will lose.
